Like other differential pressure flowmeters, the YK-CVF V-Cone operates based on Bernoulli’s law of energy conservation in closed pipelines, where flow velocity is proportional to the square root of differential pressure under stable flow conditions. As the medium flows toward the cone tip, throttling creates a low-pressure zone (P2) downstream of the cone, while a high pressure (P1) forms upstream. The pressure difference (ΔP) between P1 and P2 is transmitted to a differential pressure transmitter, allowing flow to be determined based on changes in ΔP.
