Absolute pressure transmitters transfer process pressure via isolation diaphragms and fill fluid on the high- and low-pressure sides to a central sensing diaphragm, which—acting as a taut elastic element—displaces proportionally with applied pressure; this displacement alters the capacitance between fixed electrode plates on both sides, and the resulting differential capacitance is precisely converted into standard current, voltage, or digital HART output signals for accurate pressure measurement and control.
