YK-WLF. Verabar Flowmeter

The Verabar flowmeter is designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 3966 “Measurement of fluid flow in closed conduits — Velocity area method”. It is an advanced instrument specifically used for large-diameter gas, flue gas, and power plant air flow measurement. The system consists of a differential pressure sensing probe and a calculation/display unit. It features wide measuring range, low pressure loss (only about 3% of maximum differential pressure, energy-efficient), online maintenance without process shutdown, resistance to fouling, and online cleaning capability. It is suitable for flow measurement of dirty, low-pressure, low-velocity gases and air in large-diameter pipelines.

Product Principle
The Verabar flowmeter probe is the sensing element of the flowmeter. It converts local flow velocity in the pipe into a corresponding differential pressure signal. It adopts a patented structure design. The unique probe head ensures low pressure loss and resistance to fouling. The threaded insertion mechanism allows precise adjustment of probe position to ensure measurement accuracy. The sealing chamber and ball valve design enable installation and maintenance without process shutdown. The Verabar flowmeter operates based on the principle of converting dynamic pressure into static pressure. The upstream holes on the probe measure total pressure, while the downstream holes measure static pressure.
