Product Principle
A thermocouple operates based on two different conductors joined at both ends to form a closed circuit. The measuring junction is the sensing end, while the reference junction is the terminal end. When a temperature difference exists between the measuring and reference junctions, a thermoelectric voltage is generated in the circuit. This voltage is then converted by a display instrument into the corresponding temperature value. The thermoelectric voltage increases with the temperature at the measuring junction and depends only on the materials of the thermocouple and the temperature difference between the two ends, not on the length or diameter of the electrodes. The assembled thermocouple mainly consists of a terminal box, protection tube, insulation sleeve, terminals, and thermoelectric elements, along with various mounting and fixing accessories.
