YK-WRNT. Explosion-Proof Thermocouple

Explosion-proof thermocouples are typically used together with display instruments, recorders, and computers to directly measure temperatures of liquids, steam, gases, and solid surfaces in the range of 0–1300°C in hazardous industrial environments where flammable hydrocarbons or explosive mixtures may be present.

Product Principle
Explosion-proof or intrinsically safe thermocouples share the same basic structure and operating principle as assembled thermocouples. The key difference lies in the design of the terminal box (housing), which adopts a special explosion-proof structure. The enclosure is made of high-strength die-cast aluminum alloy with sufficient internal space, wall thickness, and mechanical strength. The rubber sealing components also meet national explosion-proof standards.
In the event that an explosive gas mixture inside the terminal box ignites, the enclosure can withstand the internal pressure, and the generated heat is contained, preventing flame propagation to the external environment.
