It has no mechanical contacts and operates reliably. The sensor is placed on the top of the warehouse, and the heavy hammer is pulled and lifted into the warehouse by a motor through a stainless steel belt or steel wire rope. The instrument controls the sensor to automatically detect the material level at regular intervals. During each measurement, the heavy hammer starts to descend from the starting position on the top of the warehouse and immediately returns to the top of the warehouse to wait for the next measurement when it touches the material surface. The instrument can obtain the distance hl from the top of the warehouse to the material surface by processing the sensing signal during the descent process of the heavy hammer. The warehouse height H is pre-set by the user, so subtracting hl from the warehouse height H can obtain the material level height h=H-hl, and the instrument directly displays the material level height h. The system is controlled by PLC, which has strong functions, high stability, and easy operation; Specially suitable for level detection and control of powder, block, particle, and liquid materials in cylindrical silos in industries such as power, metallurgy, cement, coal, chemical, and food.
